When challenges to your health due to surgeries, stroke, or other serious medical conditions require rehabilitation or short term care, your main goal is to heal quickly and get back to your regular life. We understand that and strive for the same. Our seasoned team of professionals include physical, occupational, and speech therapists; along with social workers and dieticians who collaborate with you and your family to develop a personalized care-plan for each resident. We monitor your progress on a daily basis to ensure that we are doing our best to return you to your former self. A unique feature of Lakehouse is a memory care transitional unit designed for short term rehabilitation for residents with delirium, dementia, or other types of short-term cognitive impairment. This unit contains all private rooms and was the first of its kind in the Twin Cities.

When staying at Lakehouse, you become part of the family. We offer a robust daily activity program and tasty and nutritious dining options. Long term residents will have a 24/7 nursing staff looking after them and will be treated with personalized care plans that include therapy and social services.
